How to froth milk in a French Press

Don’t have a fancy coffee machine at home? You don’t need any fancy equipment to make frothy cafe-style milk. Here’s how to foam milk at home using a coffee plunger.

What you need:

    • A coffee plunger, such as a French press
    • Warm milk (You can heat it up in the microwave)
    • A shot of coffee/chocolate syrup, ready to go

The process:

Step 1
Pour the warm milk into the coffee plunger. Pop the top of the plunger on and press up and down slowly about 10-15 times. Keep going until you recreate a bit of foam.

Step 2
Gently tap the plunger on a bench to release any air bubbles. Pour the milk into the espresso or chocolate syrup and enjoy!
